For over two months, Windows Vista SP 2 has been trying to get installed in my system but it systematically fails installation. I have tried everything, from Google searching, posting in Microsoft's forums, searching Microsoft pages, tried to install manually, always with absolutely no success.
I was struggling to install service packs but after some research and a bit of work I got it to install. It turned out to be caused by the fact that I dual boot Linux and Vista so Windows Boot manager had changed.
